Your Ethics

You won’t have to suspend your ethics to work at SitePoint. The stuff that’s important to you is also important to us.

For instance, SitePoint encourages staff to seek alternatives to driving to work, and provides bike racks for the many who ride. We participate in recycling programs, purchase only green energy, and have established the SitePoint Emission Reduction Project as a means to constantly monitor the business’s environmental impact. SitePoint also actively supports a number of charities by donating a percentage of yearly book sales to causes we want to champion.

Sure, these are small things—they’re not going to save the world overnight. But we think they reflect the basic responsibilities of every organisation, and we wonder why more companies don’t implement programs like these.

The Other Stuff

Yes, we do have an espresso machine, the fridge is crammed with icy-cold beverages, and we do fly the team to exotic locations for a few days every Christmas. As well as providing a culture of professionalism and giving team members the chance to really excel, SitePoint offers all the goodies you’d expect from a company that cares about its staff’s happiness. (Personal training is on Mondays and Thursdays—don’t forget to bring your runners!)
